Overview :

Dayara Bugyal is the place in Uttarakhand that captures the essence of a Himalayan winter more than any other location. It has the most extensive snowscape in the state. This moderate trek takes place over the course of five days and lives up to its name, which literally translates to “meadows.” During the summer months, this alpine field is covered in a carpet of wildflowers, but during the winter months, it is transformed into the largest, most enormous snow field you have ever seen, stretching as far as the eye can see. The fact that this winter trek has so many twists and turns is one of its most intriguing aspects. The path that you take on this trek is just wonderful! The routes give spectacular views of revered peaks like as Mt. Bandarpoonch (6,316 M), Mt. Srikanth (6,133 M), Gangotri I (6,672 M), and Black Peak (6,387 M). The pathways are lined with oak, pine, and maple trees, and there are Rhododendrons sprinkled over the landscape. A breathtaking vista of the Garhwal mountain range can be seen from Dayara Top, which is the highest point on the ridge. This short trip also bestows upon you the gift of two mysterious high-altitude lakes in the shape of Gui Lake and Barnala Tal. Gui Lake is found lying passively in the middle of this frozen terrain, while Barnala Tal is a seaweed-green lake that displays the winter hues of the valley to their utmost potential. The melodies of scarlet minivets, rusty-crowned sparrows, and eurasian jays may be heard all the way to the end of the trail, adding to the already breathtaking scenery.
