Rudranath Trek
Starts @ ₹ 12,500/P (5D-4N)
Overview :
When it comes to the texts, in addition to religion, there are several temples dedicated to Lord Shankar that have been erected all across the globe and the nation. All of these temples include Bholenath seated in a distinctive manner. The Rudranath temple, which is a part of the Panch Kedar and can be found in the Chamoli region of Uttarakhand, is one of them. At a height of 3,600 metres above mean sea level, this temple dedicated to Lord Shankar may be found. One of the most remarkable aspects of this temple is that it is dedicated to the worship of the face of Lord Shiva. The fact that it is venerated in Kathmandu, Nepal, makes it even more remarkable than the remainder of Lord Shiva’s body, which is also revered there. This is, without a doubt, the reason why this shrine is so well-known across the nation. Due to the fact that Rudranath is distinct from other temples, people go from a great distance to visit this temple. As a result, this temple is also referred to as the Pashupatinath Temple. In this temple, solely Shiva’s face is worshipped, despite the fact that his lingam form is also revered. There is a temple in this area that is referred to as “Neelkanth Mahadev,” and it is said that the visage of Lord Shiva stands there.
